ALTEC LANSING ROCKING THE WARPED TOUR!
FANS AND BANDS TAKE NOTICE!

MILFORD, PA – August 2, 2010 – Altec Lansing, one of the world’s most innovative audio brands dedicated to great sound, put their passion for music on the road with their first-ever big sponsorship of the Vans Warped Tour this summer. Between the special activities at their tent on the grounds and the prominent Altec Lansing stage, they have decidedly made their mark on Warped Tour culture.

When AbsolutePunk.com polled their readers as to which stage on the Warped Tour was the best, The Altec Lansing stage won by a landslide – garnering 34% of the vote, with the next in line – the Main stage – garnering 19%. Some of the biggest buzz bands on the tour – Whitechapel, Pierce The Veil, Hey Monday and Breathe Carolina – have contributed to the stage’s great popularity.

The Altec Lansing tent has hosted some extraordinary events along the tour route. From acoustic sets by The Bouncing Souls, Sparks The Rescue, Kelsey & The Chaos, Four Year Strong and many more to autograph signings by Motion City Soundtrack, Mayday Parade, Breathe Carolina and Suicide Silence, among others, the tent has been rocking every single date. Bands joining the fans at the tent to play Rock Band or just hang out have included All American Rejects, Every Time I Die, IWrestledABearOnce and Ace Enders, while exclusive interviews were done with Andrew WK, Sum41, Pierce The Veil and The Rocket Summer.

From blogs covering each date to exclusive video of the interviews, performances and signings, the content on http://www.alteclive.com and http://www.youtube.com/AltecLive is beyond compare. “We had a great time doing our acoustic set at the Altec tent,” Kelsey Merritt of Kelsey & The Chaos enthuses. “We loved hanging at the Altec Lansing Tent this year! Everyone was amazing and made us feel really welcome,” adds Kyle Even of Breathe Carolina. “They gave us all awesome headphones! Go check them out if you haven’t already, super comfy and great sound quality,” “We want to be on the Altec Lansing Stage next time,” say Warped first-timers In Fear And Faith, who are longtime fans of the brand – even using the afore-mentioned Altec Lansing headphones as their in-ears on stage.
