BLACK WATER RISING To Perform Acoustically In Times Square On Monday July 12

New York hard rockers BLACK WATER RISING are always up for a live show, so when they were asked to play an acoustic set and be interviewed in Times Square for The Real Radio Show, they jumped at the chance. The performance and interview will take place at the Jamba Juice in Times Square located at 712 7th Avenue (Between 47th and 48th)

The Real Radio Show with Frankie Dee airs every Monday night from 6:30-8:00 PM and is broadcast on Long Island’s WGBB 1240 AM as well as live online at the Real Radio website Also appearing on the show will be actor and one of BWR’S close friends Jose Hernandez Jr. (HBO’s OZ and NY Undercover)

Drummer Mike Meselsohn spoke on BLACK WATER RISING’S upcoming acoustic performance in Times Square:

“These riffs were meant to be played loud but sometimes it’s nice to strip the songs down to their essence and let the vocals really shine through. It’s cool to present the tunes with a completely different feel and energy.”

BLACK WATER RISING’S self-titled debut release is available now on Giddy Up! Records. Giddy Up! Records is a brand new label with distribution through Sony/RED. The album artwork was designed by “Mister Sam” aka Sam Shearon, the renowned artist from England who has done work for Rob Zombie, Godhead and ESP guitars. In support of the release, BWR have lined up a string of Summer shows with more to be added shortly.
