Here is a recently interview we conducted with Consider Me Dead to find out more about this band on the rise ready to break it out and energize up your world. Read on…
Introduce yourself, tell me what you do in Consider Me Dead, and how long the band has been together.
I’m Chris I sing, I’m Brandon I sing as well, and I’m Kevin and I play the drums. We have been a band for a little over 3 years now.
Where is the band based out of and what is your local music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are based out of Phoenix AZ and Hollywood. The music scene in Phoenix is awesome, it’s mostly a hardcore scene but the kids are super supportive and it’s amazing. Our doods in Farewell My Love are from Phoenix – they are awesome.
Is there any story or concept behind the album title Young At Heart?
Yes! Young At Heart was the last song we recorded on the record and directly after we were like, yo, this has to be the name of the record it’s perfect, and here it is today <3
Select two songs from Young At Heart and what inspired the lyrics.
It’s hard to pick any few songs, we write all of our songs about life experiences and things people can relate to. Everything we write about has some sort of deeper meaning to us personally, it’s really cool to see how others interpret the songs we write.
What could one expect from a live Consider Me Dead show?
A huge dance party and a good time always.
Has Consider Me Dead ever played here in the Los Angeles area or plan to do so in future days?
Yes we just played there like a month ago, and we have more shows coming up so stay tuned! We love LA.
Any strange or scary happenings on the road or at a Consider Me Dead show?
Always, every night is a new adventure. The tour we just got off of we hadn’t slept in like 36 hours and our tire blew out and then our van overheated within like an hour of each other – it was hell!!!
What was it like touring with Blood On The Dance Floor and Jeffree Star, and were they cool to hang out with?
It was crazy, they were all super nice people – we had a blast.
If Consider Me Dead could open up for any band either now or from the past, who would it be and why?
Blink 182, they inspired so much of what we do and it would be a dream to play with them. or MJ!
How did you wind up signing with Standby Records?
We had talked with Neil the owner back and forth for a while and they offered us some super awesome stuff so we teamed up!
If your music was a donut, what kind would it be and why?
A sprinkled donut because we will sprinkle love into your life 😉
What’s up next for Consider Me Dead?
TOUR TOUR TOUR TOUR TOUR!
Any final words of wisdom?
We love our fans and everyone who supports us, thank you so much we couldn’t do it without you, and never be afraid to follow your dreams.
