Introduce yourself, what you do in the band, and where you are based out of?
My name is Evan Couture and I sing in Avion Roe, a rock band from Dallas, TX.

What are you looking forward to the most about Warped Tour and is this your first time on the tour?
We were on the tour in 2011 and again in 2012. We’re looking forward to seeing and connecting with our fans. We’ve been recording our new album and haven’t been on the road in way too long. Warped will end that for us.

What advice would you give a band about to attempt Warped for the first time?
I don’t like to give advice but I would encourage them to practice good teamwork. The tour can test you mentally and it takes strong communication to excel on it.

What could one expect from your live show at Warped Tour?
We play every show like its our last, it’s a habit we learned from our favorite bands. We’ll be playing some brand new never before heard songs.

What is the name of your latest or upcoming CD or EP and what inspired the title?
Our new album is called In Separation. The songs have a common theme of love and the discord of loneliness. The album is a soundtrack for finding yourself when the rest of the world is taken away, hence – In Separation.

Select two songs you may be playing in your set and what inspired the lyrics.
Who I Am is the most popular song on our first album, the lyrics are about finding your purpose and drowning out the noise of other. Into The Rest is the lead single from our new album and the lyrics are about love and how it can be the most electric high and the most devastating low. Kellin Quinn wrote the bridge lyrics that he sings, and I know that his lyric ‘let me show you how it starts, it starts like this‘ was a message to me about how our dreams were becoming a reality.

How are you going to feel about playing those infamous 11:30 AM Warped Tour slots?
There’s no wrong time to play music. …also maybe hungover.

If you could open up for any band, either now or from the past, who would it be and why?
Nirvana. I love everything about that band. As a writer, Kurt Cobain has been a hero to me, his songs were simple and deep at the same time.

Do you have any messages for Warped Tour attendees this year?
Find a band you have never heard of and check them out, the future is happening now.

Introduce yourself, what you do in the band, and where you are based out of?
Hello there, This is Emerson Barrett the drummer of rock and roll band Palaye Royale. The band resides In Hollywoodland.

What are you looking forward to the most about Warped Tour and is this your first time on the tour?
This will be our first time as a band on the entire Warped Tour. I am looking forward to experiencing the madness of it all! I like playing in a festival atmosphere.

What could one expect from your live show at Warped Tour?
Our live show consist of energetic rock and roll. Fast paced, nodding at punk and blues.

What is the name of your latest or upcoming CD or EP and what inspired the title?
Our Debut album “Boom Boom Room” is being released the first day of the tour. It includes 15 songs and fold out hand-written lyrics by me. The album comes completely covered in my Neoclassical drawings inspired by the title of the album.

Select two songs you may be playing in your set and what inspired the lyrics.
My Youth Generation” The songs was written with the observation of our current state in society and youth. Lyrically depicting a possible revolution for our generation.
Ma Cherie” this song, on the album features Kellin Quinn. It’s a tortured love song written about a beautifully crazy French lover.

How are you going to feel about playing those infamous ‪11:30 AM‬ Warped Tour slots?
Everyone knows, I love my sleep. But there is nothing else I’d rather be doing.

Any strange or unusual happening in the past while out on the road?
We toured with I See Stars and Chunk! No Captain Chunk. That is my favorite tour I have been on so far, we all shared a wicked and twisted sense of humor. When all of us are together strange and unusual events happened to us. Most times unspeakable..

If you could open up for any band, either now or from the past, who would it be and why?
A dream band to open for would be the legendary rock and roll band The Animals. Such a groovy 60’s band. Oddly enough, the lead singer Eric Burden and his daughter were the ones that introduced us to Sumerian Records. One of the few record labels left with completely artistic freedoms.

Do you have any messages for Warped Tour attendees this year?
Drink water and enjoy yourself. Visit our pirate mech tent… We will have misters.

Introduce yourself, what you do in the band, and where you are based out of?
My name is Aaron Barrett, I play guitar, sing and write songs for the ska band Reel Big Fish. Wikipedia says that we are from Huntington Beach, CA but none of us live there.

What are you looking forward to the most about Warped Tour and is this your first time on the tour?
I believe this is our 5th or 6th Warped Tour? I lost count after the 2013 one!
Lots of old friends of ours are on this tour like Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, Sum 41, Pepper, Ballyhoo, Good Charlotte, the Interrupters so we’re excited to hang out with them! Warped Tour is always fun because it’s a chance to play in front of a lot of people who might not normally come to a Reel Big Fish show so that’s always fun trying to win over some new fans! Also the salad bar at catering is always amazing so I can’t wait for that!

If this is not your first time on Warped Tour, what advice would you give a band about to attempt Warped for the first time?
Get ready to sweat! It’s a fun time but the heat is really the biggest issue and what makes it the most difficult for people. Also, don’t count on getting a shower very often, shower facilities are pretty scarce and hard to find! And most importantly, make sure you stay hydrated, so chug a bottle of water between every vodka tonic!

What could one expect from your live show at Warped Tour?
Super highly concentrated fun, entertainment and hits! We only have 30 minutes for our set and we make every second count!

What is the name of your latest or upcoming CD or EP and what inspired the title?
The last record we put out was called “Happy Skalidays” we love Christmas…and ska puns!

Select two songs you may be playing in your set and what inspired the lyrics.
We’ll definitely be playing “241” and “Don’t Stop Skankin‘” both are instrumentals.

How are you going to feel about playing those infamous 11:30 AM Warped Tour slots?
They are painful but ya gotta suck it up! Keeps it fair for everyone because each band plays a different time each day and nobody gets to hog the “headliner” slots.

Any strange or unusual happening in the past while out on the road?
One time, on tour with Goldfinger, for a tour prank they pelted us with wet cat food while we were on stage playing.  It doesn’t sound that bad but that stuff STINKS!!

If you could open up for any band, either now or from the past, who would it be and why?
I’ve been lucky enough to open up for lots of my favorite bands and lots of random bands and artists too who I never thought I’d play with like KISS, the Cure, the Skatalites, Coolio, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Blondie, They Might Be Giants, No Doubt, Sublime and so many more…

Do you have any messages for Warped Tour attendees this year?
Bring your sunscreen and your dancing’ shoes!

Introduce yourself, what you do in the band, and where you are based out of?
I’m Danny Duncan, Drummer for We The Kings.

What are you looking forward to the most about Warped Tour and is this your first time on the tour?
We have done (I think) 5 Warped Tours and this one looks to be the one of the most solid lineups out of all of them.

If this is not your first time on Warped Tour, what advice would you give a band about to attempt Warped for the first time?
This is a different tour. Get used to terrible cell phone signal, being parked in random parking lots, waiting in line for 30 minutes to get food, using port o potties, etc. However, this is one of the most rewarding tours ever and if you keep a positive attitude, you will gain fans and new friends every single day.

What could one expect from your live show at Warped Tour?
We have to cram 5 albums worth of songs that people want to hear into a 35 minute set. Whichever songs we choose, it will be wild, fast, and energetic.

What is the name of your latest or upcoming CD or EP and what inspired the title?
We are coming out with a “Greatest Hits” album if you will that is called “So Far”. The title essentially means that just because were releasing a compilation of our greatest songs, it doesn’t mean that were done writing them. These are our greatest songs…so far.

Select two songs you may be playing in your set and what inspired the lyrics.
Check Yes Juliet” is clearly a fan favorite. Those lyrics were inspired by our inability to get girlfriends in High School and how we started a band to impress girls haha. “Secret Valentine” is a song about the first time a boy and a girl…you know.

How are you going to feel about playing those infamous 11:30 AM Warped Tour slots?
Thankfully we haven’t had to play many but when those shows do come around, it’s a little brutal. Most of the times you’re showing up to the stage with your first cup of coffee and the pre-show war chant becomes more of a pre-show yawn. However, you have the privilege of setting the tone for the rest of the day, so you have to go hard. Then you can go back to bed haha

Any strange or unusual happening in the past while out on the road?
I can riff off a couple headline-esque stories: Band gets into a “who can eat the hottest hot sauce” contest that ends in an ambulance ride, and people have showered butt naked in the rain in front of everyone. Just man and nature. And some soap.

If you could open up for any band, either now or from the past, who would it be and why?
Pffft the Beatles, duh. I want to see the behind the scenes and get a first hand account as to what it was really like to play a show/hangout with them.

Do you have any messages for Warped Tour attendees this year?
Bring a water jug and sunscreen. Go nuts and have fun.
