Disturbed and Three Days Grace at The Forum

Disturbed, Three Days Grace, The Forum, January 11, 2019

Disturbed

The almighty Disturbed brought The Evolution Tour to The Forum in the City Of Angels on a Friday night, presenting an absolutely mesmerizing concert of epic proportions. In addition to songs from a vast and glorious career, the sights would include an expansive video screen, dynamic pyrotechnics, thrilling light displays, and a whole lot more! Kicking off 2019 with a sonic blast to the senses, Disturbed would present an inspiring video introduction, followed by the triumphant opening refrains of Are You Ready. And what would follow was a massive two-hour extravaganza that absolutely rocked the packed house.

On tour in support of their recently issued Evolution masterwork, Disturbed is clearly a band at the very height of their creative energies. David Draiman is an absolutely compelling front man, whose inspiring vocals soared vibrantly throughout the cavernous Forum. Dan Donegan was supremely impressive on guitar, filling the legendary venue with a staggering wall of sound. And what a ferocious rhythm section Disturbed possesses, featuring the participation of John Moyer on bass and Mike Wengren on drums. Included within the audience response on this magical night would be three (and at times even more) circle pits igniting on The Forum floor throughout the entire presentation.

One the most devastating highlights was the very timely Stupify, a song that could change the world with its powerful refrains – and remains as impressive now as when it was when first unveiled at the turn of this tumultuous century. Disturbed also had some imaginative covers up their collective sleeves, rendering Land Of Confusion by Genesis and Sound Of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel their very own hard rock and roll beasts. Within the realm of their original material, newer songs A Reason To Fight, Watch You Burn, and No More received a massively favorable response from the crowd.

And when this event landed with the grand finale featuring their Down With The Sickness classic, Disturbed clearly demonstrated why they are one of the most captivating hard rock collectives on the planet today. Do not miss The Evolution Tour if Disturbed arrive in your town to rock your world with their spirited anthems!

Three Days Grace

Three Days Grace would supply the perfect support on this run of The Evolution Tour, unveiling their own exhilarating brand of catchy hard rock and roll! From the opening entreaties of The Mountain and Home, Three Days Grace delivered a scorching set that left a lasting impression on the early arrivals. There is no doubt Three Days Grace had a good amount of fans in attendance, judging by the epic singalongs that would occur throughout their opening one-hour set. The latest Three Days Grace manifesto is entitled Outside, and the band would unveil powerhouse selections such as Infra-Red from the critically acclaimed album. Other songs from their catalog would include the wickedly pummeling refrains of I Hate Everything About You and the persuasive Animal I Have Become.

The tremendously charismatic Three Days Grace lineup features the talents of Matt Walst on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Barry Stock on lead guitar, Brad Walst on bass, and Neil Sanderson on drums. Judging by the breathtaking audience response from the final call to rock and roll arms known as Riot, it won’t be long until Three Days Grace find themselves headlining their own tours in venues as spectacular as The Forum.
