Elenora to Release Sophomore EP Entitled Avant-Garde This Summer

Releases New Single “Rome Is Where The Art Is”

Eugene, Oregon’s post-hardcore mainstay Elenora is set to release their follow-up to 2009’s In Reality I Am. The sophomore release is entitled Avant-Garde and will be released later this summer. The new EP was recorded with Ryan Furlott (It Prevails, Years Spent, Anchorage Etc.) of Rain City Records and sees the band’s sound and songwriting maturing. To tease their fans until Avant-Garde is released, Elenora has released their new single “Rome Is Where The Art Is” at http://youtu.be/rYMIA3oVb9U.

The band’s first show back since guitarist Kurt Fields was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Burkitt’s lymphoma back in February will be July 27th at Hawthorne Theatre in Portland, Oregon with Emery and Verah Falls. Elenora will then hit the road for select dates in August before going out on an extended run of dates in the Fall.

Since forming out of the wooded state of Oregon, Elenora has garnered attention and fan support from around the States. The release of their Kris Crummett (Dance Gavin Dance, Lower Definition, Drop Dead Gorgeous) produced In Reality I Am in 2009 helped them become a band to watch in many eyes. After a member change, the band set out on a ten day mini-tour with Apollo and A Constant North.
