EMBLEM3 RETURNS TO THE STUDIO TO READY NEW MUSIC FOR 2016
BUZZ CONFIRMED VIA EXCLUSIVE VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENT MADE DIRECT TO FANS
TRIO RE-ENERGIZED VIA NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH SES ARTIST MANAGEMENT
Hugely successful pop trio EMBLEM3–brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and friend Drew Chadwick–are publicly announcing that they have returned to the studio, and are working on new music to be released next year. Over the past several weeks, there has been buzz brewing following the group dropping a cover of Adele’s “Hello” on YouTube. The surprise video was greeted with massive excitement as it marked the first new music from the band in over a year; check out the video, now approaching 300,000 views, here.
As fans and media began to chatter about their return, last week (11/3) EMBLEM3 spoke to their fans directly via an exclusive video announcement. “We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for us through all the ups and downs,” the band shared. “Yes, the rumors are true. We are making a new album in the studio now and we’re going to be releasing it next year, alongside a tour and we’re so stoked to see all your beautiful faces. It’s been way too long.” Following their announcement, the hashtag #E3Now began trending nationwide with over 131,000 mentions.
The Los Angeles-based trio first rose to fame on the hit TV show “The X Factor,” where they finished fourth on the Season 2. They caught the judges’ attention right off the bat by taking a big risk and performing an original song, “Sunset Blvd,” for their first audition. All four judges were blown away, with L.A. Reid saying, “I don’t like you, I love you,” Britney Spears proclaiming, “It was amazing” and Demi Lovato gushing “I can’t wait to hear you guys on the radio.” Even the toughest critic, Simon Cowell, had nothing but high praise noting, “I loved everything about this audition, from the minute you walked on, from the song, to the performance. I predict big things for you going forward. This is a very, very, very easy yes.” Wes, Keaton and Drew went on to become fan favorites thanks to their heartfelt performances and outgoing, charismatic personalities.
Following “The X Factor,” the guys were signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco Records and immediately began working on their debut album Nothing to Lose, which was released in July 2013. The first single off the album, “Chloe (You’re the One I Want),” climbed the pop charts, landing them on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Top 40 charts. The official music video has been viewed over 13.3 million times; check it out here.
EMBLEM3 is also excited to share that they have signed with new management and are a part of the SES Artist Management family. “Absolutely stoked to share with the world everything we’ve been working on,” the three share. “It’s been a crazy journey so far! We’re super grateful to have such a solid team in place and incredible fans.”
Manager Edgel Groves Jr. had this to say: “Emblem3 have created their own unique brand of music. There is nobody doing what these guys do at such a high level. I’m proud to be working with such talented, driven young artists.”
Information about the music release and tour dates will be announced in the coming months. For the latest news and future exclusive content, fans are encouraged to follow the EMBLEM3 social media pages and sign up at www.emblem3.com for their fan newsletter.
