Norwegian progressive extreme metal band ENSLAVED are pleased to announce their return to the U.S. as direct support to Swedish death metal headliners AMON AMARTH on their “Deceiver Of The Gods” 2014 Tour. The tour launches on Friday, January 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada and ends in San Diego, California on Sunday, February 16th. Ohio metallers SKELETONWITCH will be opening on all but one date.

Recently ranking in at #9 on Denver Westword’s “Ten Best Norwegian Metal Bands” list, ENSLAVED were nominated for a Spellemann Award (the Swedish equivalent of the American Grammy) for the seventh time in the category “Best Metal Album” for their 2012 studio release, RIITIIR. ENSLAVED have won four consecutive times for their previous four studio albums: Axioma Ethica Odini (2010), Vertebrae (2008), Ruun (2006), and Isa (2004).
ENSLAVED’s RIITIIR debuted at #8 on the American Billboard Heatseekers (New Artists) chart in October 2012 and appeared on numerous “Best Albums of 2012” lists around the world.
