Fit For A King debut album “Descendants” out today!

After the MySpace music explosion from 2007-2009, the band Fit For A King has taken some time to write, record and finish their debut full length album “Descendants.” After a much anticipated waiting period, the time is finally here that the hard hitting MySpace era heroes from Tyler, Texas are going to be taking off. With the release of their debut single “The Architect,” featuring one of today’s most versatile vocalists Matty Mullins (Memphis May Fire), the song exploded over a week’s time and is circulating all around the internet. The album consists of old demo favorites such as “Messenger, Messenger, Hollow Eyes, and Buried” and brand new material that has never been heard before.

This independent band has nearly sold close to 15,000 units over the last few years and is continuing to sail steady sales off of year old demos. With this new record also debuts their first music video for their second single “Ancient Waters.” Check it out on YouTube.

The video was shot by Stephen Hudgins, an independent video producer out of Oklahoma City, OK. This video consists of very dark and scary scenery with the use of mannequin heads and an abandon warehouse in the middle of nowhere.

Don’t forget, “Descendants” drops September 23rd, 2011 worldwide. Get your physical copy through BLKMarket Merch at or you can also snag one on iTunes!
