TRUTH DECAY by HYPNOGAJA (Union State Records)

Nicklebag and Breaking Benjamin release alternative rock that comes across sometimes sounding like Pearl Jam. Hypnogaja has put out that same alternative grungy rock but have mixed it up a bit with an edge and wondrous acoustic guitars. While using a keyboard, it shadows the music with cool instrumental openings and harmonic backing effects in other ways as well. They have a strong acoustic guitar that seems to float in and out of songs. With these elements, Hypnogaja set themselves apart from these other known bands in their genre.

My favorite song on Truth Decay is Worship Me (I’m On TV). This track would make for a cool video too. However, with songs like The March and Dark Star, radio play should come very easy for Hypnogaja. The band is based in the Southern California area.
