Wrapped in mist of tape hiss and accidental distortion, Mirror Lady floated up from the woodwork of the hills of Silverlake, CA with a new wave of minimal lo-fi bedroom pop that is both ‘haunting and intriguing’.” – Memory Memory

With the release of their first two singles, Mirror Lady has already been dubbed ‘LA’s band of the Month’ by The Deli Magazine, “the next US based blog darlings” by Music Fans Mic and have been called “a band to watch” in 2012 by Cactus Mouth.

Their self-titled debut EP is set to release this February.

Mirror Lady started when 22 year-old T.J. Petracca and 19 year-old Sean Robinson began writing and recording some simple pop songs to cassette tape in Petracca’s dorm room at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The songwriting duo teamed up with 23-year old drummer Taylor Pile and found their new home in the hills of Silver Lake, CA where the warm traditions of Southern California folk infiltrated both their harmonies and songwriting style.
