Party At Her Place!

ELEVATED by PARTY AT HER PLACE! (Gas Can Music)

Fans of The Ready Set, Breathe Electric, and Brokencyde should check out Southern California’s own Party At Her Place!, an electro-hardcore dance celebration ready to take the nation by storm.

Their EP Elevated is the first release from Gas Can Music, a label founded by Bob Bradley, a founding member of the noted hardcore act Scars Or Tomorrow.

The disc kicks off in a big and glorious way with the infectious strains of W2C3.0, cleverly mixing in both their techno and hardcore influences while gaining your attention for the rest of the action on tap.

Hustling Hollywood is a rousing dance anthem that is sure to light up club floors well beyond Tinseltown.

After a short blast of a title track Elevated, Beautiful Machine envelops the listener with its dazzling chorus that will remain in your head long after the disc spins to its conclusion.

September has deep, trance-like beats before bursting into a grand slam amalgamation of styles showing just how impressive and inviting this Party can be.

I wanna be a rock star,” is the vocal line on the concluding track Take On The World, and it is guaranteed that Party At Her Place! will be seeing their “name in lights” with deep cuts and entire recordings this exciting.

The Party At Her Place! lineup consists of David Bowles on vocals and programming (formerly of Shipshape and Bristol Fashion), Justin Mulvaney on vocals and programming, and Ryan Brito on drums. Be sure to accept your invitation to the Party At Her Place!, and catch up with a rising star in the making. Elevated by Party At Her Place! is a terrific introduction to both band and label, and we’ll no doubt be hearing a lot more from both entities in the future.

This is my favourite review so far for this band. Not only do they make quality music, they are all absolutely amazing guys who work so hard to be able to support themselves and make this awesome music. I have a feeling that this CD will be exactly what they need to make a name for themselves. 🙂
