RUNNER RUNNER ANNOUNCE SPRING TOUR WITH A ROCKET TO THE MOON STARTING MARCH 15TH

Highly Anticipated Debut Album Out On February 15th – New Track Listing Revealed

New Single “Hey Alli” Impacts Top 40 Radio On January 31st – Isaac Rentz Directed Video To Premiere Soon

(New York, NY – Jan. 10, 2011) – Pop-rock band Runner Runner will join A Rocket To The Moon on a national spring tour starting March 15th. They will join other supporting bands Valencia , Anarbor and Go Radio on the 32-date run that finishes up on April 23rd in Foxborough , MA (full schedule below). The Southern California based quintet’s new single “Hey Alli” will impact radio on Jan. 31st. “Hey Alli” is the follow-up to their debut charting single “So Obvious,” from their highly anticipated album Runner Runner (EMI/Capitol Records/ MRV Music/C.E. Music) which will be released on February 15th.

Runner Runner posted a brand new video to an acoustic version of “Hey Alli” on their youtube channel last month and will soon release an Isaac Rentz (Cage The Elephant, Pistol Youth, Manchester Orchestra, Motion City Soundtrack) directed clip for the song. The band really wanted to tell the story of the song rather than do a traditional music video featuring themselves and decided to give Rentz full creative control and artistic freedom to shoot a mini film that would portray his own visual interpretation of the lyrics. The short film stars actor/director Alex Beh and actress Camille Montgomery and is based on the concept of believing that your dreams are more important than your reality and finding out that the reality of love is really all anyone needs.

Fans can pre-order a copy of Runner Runner on the band’s website and receive a free acoustic EP at the time of order. There are multiple fan bundle merchandise packages available with the album and Runner Runner merchandise including a 7” vinyl, an exclusive t-shirt and hoodie. All pre-order packages are available at www.runnerrunnermusic.com. The additional merchandise will be shipped to buyers ahead of the album’s release date. In addition all fans that pre-order the album will automatically be entered into a random drawing to have a personalized version of “Hey Alli” given to them as an Mp3 and video clip.

Runner Runner spent the summer touring with Secondhand Serenade and White Tie Affair. They played some fall dates with 2AM Club and most recently toured with Forever The Sickest Kids. They’ve also played shows with bands such as Fall Out Boy, All Tim Low, Gym Class Heroes and Angels & Airwaves and have played the Vans Warped Tour and Bamboozle. They have performed their debut single “So Obvious” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Late Show With David Letterman.”

Runner Runner is the first band signed to Clear Entertainment/C.E. Music, a new label formed by David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc. through a partnership with EMI’s Capitol Records and music industry veteran Jack Ponti’s MRV Label.
