What was your very first concert you ever went to and what was the experience like?
Kyle – Steve Miller Band – Red Rocks – I just remember looking at all the people and watching the band and realizing how real it was there! That and leaving with my ears ringing! haha!

What is the name of your current/upcoming album and is there any concept behind the album title?
The Album is titled “Hell Is What You Make It” and it’s really just about how we all create our own personal hell’s but it’s up to us to change the effect it has on ourselves and those around us – for me it’s the idea of being away from everything I know at home – but I’ve found a new home on the road and with the people i’m surrounded by!

Please select two songs that you may be playing at Scream It Like You Mean It and what inspired the lyrics.
Blackout – our everyday lives inspired this song! aha!
Wooly – it’s about trying to save someone, but they have to realize it’s them who has to save themselves.

What could one expect from your live show at Scream It Like You Mean It?
Energy, movement, friends! We just like to try and get people involved! It’s exciting for us when everyone get’s into the show!

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to your band while out on the road?
There’s a ton of things! But one thing that happened while on our last tour was we were in our bus just hanging out – I had gone to bed with our tour puppy named Kevin at this point, as we were about 30 minutes to bus call. Our Tech “Tasty” had a lady in the bus and she had her purse in his bunk to keep it safe, but she wasn’t safe in fact! As she went in to get her things she rolled in his bunk and all over a special surprise that Kevin left in Tasty’s bunk!  Needless to say Kevin cock blocked Taste hard as she left right after that! Taste on the other had was screaming for Kevin – Kevin lay asleep in his bunk dreaming of his accomplishment- Tasty laid alone in his bunk, pissed at the shit Kevin left him in his!

What is the most unusual or surprising artist you will be playing on your tour bus while out on the road this summer?
I can’t quite say! but there will definitely be some Skrillix and Lil Wayne, some Devin The Dude and Taking Back Sunday! We’ll keep it fresh!

Do you have any messages for fans who are planning on attending the Scream It Like You Mean It this year?

CHIODOS

Introduce yourself, tell me what you do in your band, and where your band is based out of?
Brandon Bolmer, vocals for Chiodos, and the band started in Michigan, but we are currently spread about the US in Texas, California, Michigan, and St. Louis, MO.

What are you looking forward to the most about playing Scream It Like You Mean It?
I’m excited to play in front of different crowds, and I’m also interested in seeing Tek-One perform. Should be a fun tour!

What was your very first concert you ever went to and what was the experience like?
First concert was Blink 182, and it was awesome. Of course they blew my mind, and I met Travis after the show. That was pretty awesome, and inspiring. I probably said something typical like, “You guys are so awesome!”

What is the name of your current album and is there any concept behind the album title?
The album is called Illuminaudio. The word itself doesn’t speak for the entire album, it’s not a concept album…but a good amount of the songs are written about struggle, and getting through those struggles. Illumination + Audio.

Please select two songs that you may be playing at Scream It Like You Mean It and what inspired the lyrics.
Caves was written about the fears and doubts I had when I was first thinking about joining Chiodos. It was a big decision for me to join this band, and there was a lot of chances taken for me and for the band. It speaks for my situation, as well as the band’s situation before I joined. Notes in Constellations is a love song, written about the doubts and struggles one would have leaving their partner behind to tour/travel.

What could one expect from your live show at Scream It Like You Mean It?
We’re probably the heaviest, so they can expect us to be a little different than all of the other bands on the tour.

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to your band while out on the road?
More like, what’s the strangest thing that other band’s experience because of our band haha. Things get pretty strange. I don’t know…one time Jason and Brad wrestled (nearly naked) in the grass at a hotel at 3am haha. The strangest thing for me is Pat. He’s a robot or something.

What is the most unusual or surprising artist you will be playing on your tour bus while out on the road this summer?
Trey Songz, Meatloaf, or an older song that my band likes to play while they rage.

Do you have any messages for fans who are planning on attending the Scream It Like You Mean It this year?
Can’t wait to see you guys jumpin’ around. Get the lyrics down, let’s sing together! It’s all for you guys!

I SEE STARS

Introduce yourself, tell me what you do in your band, and where your band is based out of?
My name is Devin Oliver I sing in I See Stars from Detroit, Michigan.

What are you looking forward to the most about playing Scream It Like You Mean It?
I’m really looking forward to hanging with my friends in Breath Carolina and seeing what kind of damage we do together…

What was your very first concert you ever went to and what was the experience like?
Ironically enough my first show was to see Chiodos who is actually on the Scream It Like You Mean It tour. They were called Chiodos Bros and both being from Michigan we seen them when they were in the infant stage of being in a band. Maybe 25 kids. It was my first hardcore show I think I was 13.

What is the name of your current/upcoming album and is there any concept behind the album title?
We just released “The End Of The World Party” which is based off of the theory that 2012 the world will end. Its pretty much about not regretting the past and treating every day in the future like it’s your last.

Please select two songs that you may be playing at Scream It Like You Mean It and what inspired the lyrics.
We will be playing two songs off our new album for the first time; “Over It” which is about unplugging yourself from technology and embracing the world around you and “Pop Rock & Roll” which is about loving someone for a good portion of your life that doesn’t love you back and now a hypothetical doomsday is in progress you search to find someone you want to spend the remaining seconds of your life with.

What could one expect from your live show at Scream It Like You Mean It?
intensity/smiles/good music

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to your band while out on the road?
We were about 50 miles away from home on the freeway when a car is driving on the wrong side of the road.

What is the most unusual or surprising artist you will be playing on your tour bus while out on the road this summer?
Well we listen to everything with no embarrassment but we get Bieber fever now and then…

We’re there to have fun and go crazy, everyone is welcome to join us.

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to your band while out on the road?
We always end up in random situations. The most bizarre one I can think of was from an off day we spent in Hollywood . Greg managed to get in a fight with a guy dressed up as Spongebob.

What is the most unusual or surprising artist you will be playing on your tour bus while out on the road this summer?
We listen to a lot of music people wouldn’t expect a metal band to listen to. Mayday Parade is a common favorite of all ours though.
