Sparks The Rescue announces U.S Tour with The Dangerous Summer!

Sparks The Rescue is excited to announce that they will join The Dangerous Summer as direct support on the “2011 American Tour,” heading out across the U.S. this spring. This nationwide run will kick off in New York, NY on March 15 and run through the end of April.

This tour precedes the release of the band’s second album Worst Thing I’ve Been Cursed With set for release this spring. The band also made appearances on Punk Goes Pop Volume 3 with their cover of Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now“, and their interpretation of Jane’s Addiction’sMountain Song” was recently featured on Punk Goes X for Winter X Games 15.

SPARKS THE RESCUE – Alex Roy (vocals), Toby McAllister (guitar / vocals), Ben Briggs (bass), Mike Naran (guitar), Nathan Spencer (drums). Following the release of their much-loved album Eyes To The Sun, Sparks The Rescue toured steadily through 2010, including a direct support slot to Mayday Parade, dates on the Vans Warped Tour 2010, and their own headlining holiday tour. The band has also had music placements on Real World: Cancun, and won MTVU / Garnier’s “I Want My Music On MTV” contest, earning them an appearance at MTV’s Woodie Awards.
