Swervedriver announce tour in 2015, SXSW appearance

Swervedriver announce a 20 date tour this March, and will be performing at SXSW in Austin.

Swervedriver will be touring in support of their long-awaited and as-yet-untitled fifth album, their first since 99th Dream from 1999.

Duel, Never Lose That Feeling, The BirdsSci-Flyer, Rave Down, Last Train To Satansville, 99th Dream.  Each fan of Swervedriver will tell you of the time they first heard the band, and a large amount of them will also be musicians.  Their audiences are filled with people who started a band once experiencing the noise, the melody, the emotion and the power of this incredible band.  Their tours are events to plan around, to meet up with friends and to share in the energy and joy the band puts forth.  Live the members of Swervedriver pour everything they have into their songs, reworking the arrangements to keep them fresh and exciting for even the most jaded concertgoers.  Watch them perform live at KEXP from 2012 and you’ll be hooked.

Photo credit goes to the great Michael Alan Goldberg who saved the day for the bad with a labor of love last minute photo shoot at a venue in i think 110 degree outside. i cut the deal with him then and unless it has changed, the deal was you can use the photos if i get photo credit. Media doesn’t always go along, in this case it appears no one cared to put it forward. he deserves it. it was the first time there were good photos of the band after multiple failed attemps. check with him yourself he’s at the Philly weekly or michaelgoldberg@comcast.net. thank you.

    Thanks, Spacebaby M!

A photo credit would be nice, yes.

That was indeed an enjoyable shoot with the Swervies.

I’m no longer at Philly Weekly (not since 2012) but reachable at mag_photography@yahoo.com.
