The Dream Is Dead Tour with The Plot In You and Like Moths To Flames, Chain Reaction, August 1, 2015
The Plot In You
The Plot in You is the co headliner of The Dream Is Dead Tour with Like Moths to Flames. This is a metalcore band from Findlay, Ohio. The Plot In You came about as a side project a member from Before Their Eyes. Throughout the years the band has released an EP “Wife Beater” in 2010 – that is quite a name. Their first full length debut is “First Born” in 2011. Then yet another full length in 2013 “Could You Watch Your Children Burn” which has quite a unique name as well. In the year of 2015 the band has signed to Stay Sick Recordings, also with a release of the newest album “Happiness in Self Destruction” in fall so that is something to look forward to.
As The Plot In You played right before Like Moths To Flames, the fans was moving the most, the pit, crowd surfing and everything. It was great bands back to back including the local bands that played. I talked to a few people and they were mainly there for their interest in The Plot In You. This band has their unique heavy sound that continues to draw in new fans. You can see it on stage – the massive energy and thrilling stage presence – they just let loose and give it their all and that’s what I love to see in a band as they play for the people that support and love the music they create. Definitely a must see band if you have not gotten a chance to see, even check out if you haven’t listened to them because you will NOT be disappointed.

Like Moths To Flames
Like Moths To Flames is a metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio. This band is currently headlining The Dream Is Dead Tour with supporting acts The Plot In You, Myka Relocate and Yuth Forever. The band’s formation was early in 2010 and released their first single titled Dead Routine on February 7th. Also in that same year they signed to Rise Records. Throughout 2011 and 2012 a few members had left and of course been replaced, but through all that their first full length studio album was in the works and on November 8th 2012 the album When We Don’t Exist was released. The band then headlined some of the Rise Records Tour the following year. A release of their second full length on July 9th 2013 called An Eye for an Eye, was followed by Like Moths To Flames playing Warped Tour.
Now time to talk about their performance at Chain Reaction that was absolutely amazing. My guess is that this place was sold out because the venue was packed. I’ve had the chance to see them one time before this but in 2012. Had a blast then and had a blast this time as well. LMTF really gets the fans moving , the crowd participation and the energy that each member has is incredible. The breakdowns are heavy as they should be. The pit was insane, throughout the entire set there was non-stop movement, also to mention tons of people were crowd surfing. The fans knew every single song that was played and were singing at the top of their lungs, even crowd surfed their way up to sing while Christopher placed the microphone into the crowd. A song that the fans loved is You Won’t Be Missed, that one happens to be my personal favorite. People absolutely love the music this band creates and how they perform at shows. I’m with them on the love of their music.
