The Word Alive’s commanding new album Life Cycles has debuted at #50 on the Billboard Top 200 and has hit #7 on the Independent Album Charts, selling over 10K copies in the first week. Life Cycles is available now at Hot Topic, Best Buy, FYE and on iTunes.

The band kicked off release week for Life Cycles with an album stream across 13 different media outlets. Singer Tyler “Telle” Smith was also just ranked #46 in Kerrang Magazine’s 50 Greatest Rockstars In The World Today.

Continuing their worldwide attack, the Arizona quintet kicked off the campaign for Life Cycles tearing across Europe in late spring, plus recent U.S. dates with I See Stars, and are about to jump into a full summer on the All Stars Tour with Suicide Silence, kicking off August 3 in Phoenix, AZ.

THE WORD ALIVE – Tyler “Telle” Smith (vocals), Zack Hansen (guitar), Tony Pizzuti (guitar), Daniel Shapiro (bass), Luke Holland (drums) – exploded on to the metal scene with debut album Deceiver in 2010, which debuted in the Billboard Top 100. The Word Alive has gained a global reputation for pushing the boundaries within their genre, and have gained press support from Rolling Stone, AOL, Metal Hammer, Kerrang! Magazine, Alternative Press, Rock Sound, Revolver Magazine, and Outburn Magazine. The band has completed successful U.S. runs with A Day To Remember and Underoath, accompanied both Suicide Silence and We Came As Romans on two separate European tours, played the entire Vans Warped Tour, The Fearless Friends Tour, and the Soundwave Festival in Australia. With a new album packed as solid as their tour schedule, The Word Alive are ready to storm into a bright future.
