“We wanted to have something special for Vans Warped Tour so that we could give our fans even more to look forward to while checking out lots of bands every day this summer,” notes singer Tyler “Telle” Smith. “We’re gonna be playing one of our two new songs while on Warped, and will be playing our heaviest and most high energy set to date, so get ready for a party this summer! After Warped Tour we head to Australia in September, then we have some awesome tours to end the year so stay tuned for more goodies from TWA in the near future!”

The band is currently touring Europe with We Came As Romans, and will be playing all summer on Vans Warped Tour. The band has also been confirmed to be part of Soundwave Revolution 2011 in Australia this fall. Stay tuned for more details!

THE WORD ALIVE – Tyler “Telle” Smith (vocals), Zach Hansen (guitar), Tony Pizzuti (guitar), Dusty Riach (keys/synth), Justin Salinas (drums), Daniel Shapiro (bass) – exploded on to the metal scene with debut album Deceiver, debuting at #96 in the Billboard Top 100 in summer 2010. The band has completed successful U.S. runs with A Day To Remember and Underoath, and continued their 2011 live onslaught with a slot on Motel 6’s Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour in January. The band has gained press support from Alternative Press, Rock Sound, Revolver Magazine and was featured in Metal Hammer’s 75 Bands That Will Shape The Future Of Metal.
