Unify by World Trade (Frontiers Music Srl)

The world class progressive rock collective known as World Trade has returned, unveiling the majestic Unify, the third exhilarating manifesto!  With their Self-Titled debut on Polygram Records in 1989 followed by Euphoria on Magna Carta in 1995, World Trade went into a state of hibernation while its esteemed members went on to their other musical destinies.  And now in the year 2017, the dream lineup has reconnected in a vast and epic way – featuring Billy Sherwood  of Yes and Asia fame on lead vocals and bass, Guy Allison and Bruce Gowdy from the sensational Unruly Child on keyboards and guitars respectively, plus  Mark T. Williams (son of famed composer John Williams and brother of Toto singer Joseph) on drums.  Unify by World Trade is a captivating work destined to inspire all who venture out to uncover the auditory adventures within,

From the glorious refrains of opening track The New Norm and well beyond, there is a sense of urgency and imagination to be found within the sweeping music and compelling lyrical content.  Further exploration into the album finds an intriguing galaxy of exquisite resonance, where brilliant musicianship send the listener into a state of ultrasonic bliss.  Whether it’s Sherwood’s pensive vocals or pulsating bass lines, Gowdy’s illustrious guitar reverberations, Allison’s cinematic keyboard wizardry, or Williams bringing it all home with style and flair – World Trade has created a fascinating listening experience for the ages!  Fans of progressive mainstays such as Asia, Yes, and Toto are destined to discover a kindred spirit when travelling the infinite corridors of Unify by World Trade.  A stunning masterwork to be sure – let’s hope we hear a lot more from World Trade in near future days ahead!
