We’re a teenage (our youngest just turned 14, and our oldest is 16) hard rock band called the Starving Furniture Collection. We’re based in a pretty small mountain town. Our website is http://www.sfcband.zzl.org which has links to all of our stuff. Our influences range from metal to punk, funk to rock, exotic to classic, and everything in between.
Also, please view our LIVE videos if you do, as our recording has some issues (mainly with limited usable equipment). Our live videos don’t have as bad as issues
Listeners have likened the Winterburn sound to a number of high quality bands (Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Forbidden, Dark Angel, Machine Head, Exodus, Vio-Lence etc.), with some fans of the music describing them as “a heavier Biohazard,” or reminiscent of “Beneath The Remains/Arise era Sepultura.” However you look at it, these guys thrash and thrash hard. If you like your tunes fast and heavy, your windmills constant and your pits circular, then Winterburn are the band for you.
We’re a melodic hardcore/post hardcore band from the eastern suburbs of melbourne, australia. We take influences from a ridiculously wide variety of tunes including Parkway Drive, House vs Hurricane, Lamb of God, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying. Taken influences also from the punk and post punk genres as well as myself (Nick, Vocalist) and our guitarist taking influences from acoustic acts such as Jeff Buckley and Jason Mraz. We really are musically open to anything.

Mikey Sabatella is a Singer/Songwriter from Pasadena, Ca whose style is heavily influenced by music from artists such as Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Link Wray and Andrew Bird. Mikey has taken a new approach to his debut record ‘A Life In The Day’ by writing it based on an “instinctual approach”; strumming chords, writing lyrics, formulating each song with a one take mentality and creating a very honest sound. Mikey is no stranger to traveling, touring, and writing records. He has been playing and recording music for over 13 years and has toured across the country and parts of Japan.
This is Ghost is a new band from the small city of Yucaipa, California. We’re somewhere between the boundaries of ‘dark rock’ and true ‘screamo’. We have a decent sound, but have been having trouble with faulty equipment, and drama between band members, but we’re over most of that now. Well, here are some lyrics from one of our songs:

STEAL the SCENERY is an electrifying four piece alternative pop band from San Diego, California. Their creative writing has been influence from such great artists like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Mexican singer Pedro Infante. Front man Bobby Frausto’s cool raspy voice melts at the heartstrings of his listeners with fresh lyrics while the band turns out catchy, radio ready, guitar hooks and dance along melodies. Combine that with an energetic and professional live performance; and you can see why they appeal to both young and old.
In February 2010 the group released their latest and much anticipated full length album entitled “ALL or Nothing” produced by Jaime Preciado of “Pierce the Veil” . “Aiming for bands like Runner Runner or the Summer Set and other semi well known bands, Steal the Scenery definitely have potential”- latest review from The Album Project .
In May 2010, the band was asked to headline in front of thousands at Petco Park and on August 11, 2010 “SJC” drums announced Steal the Scenery as their 2010 San Diego band. The idea of revolution is toyed with by many today, but for Tarek Kasmi, it has become both a constant inspiration and the central focus of his work. “I want to spark a revolution through art,” says the 20-year-old singer and musician. “Written ideas are transient; they don’t always leave a lasting impression. A good song, on the other hand, can inspire radical change within minutes, and it can happen for hundreds of people at a time. That is what I hope to achieve.”
2010 has seen a determined and focused effort from the Orlando-based singer to spur a change. His drive to spread the spirit of rebellion has only been amplified by the release of his latest EP, appropriately titled ‘The New Century.’ Spanning just under twenty minutes, its five tracks constitute an anthemic call to arms, encouraging listeners to reject corporate-sponsored defeatism and live, as he says, “like real human beings.”
“’The New Century’ is my way of showing people that there is more to life than money and big media and consumerism,” he explains. “I think everyone intuitively understands that something isn’t right in this world, and I wanted to bring light to that fact.”
With plans to release a full-length album and tour through as many cities as possible, 2010 seems to be the mere beginning of what is to be a successful career in the arts. Showing no signs of hindrance or hesitation, Kasmi hopes to spread his fire to as broad of an audience as he can. Being the ambitious and driven individual that he is, it is safe to assume that one can expect no less than that.

Showcasing yet more new tunes, Ravens In Paris continue their mission across the big smoke. After a great response to their new numbers, the boys went on to record ‘I Can See A Liar’ after being approached by producer Gavin Monaghan (Editors, Ian Brown, Grace Jones). The sessions went well and the band will be recording with him again in October.
