The Ants all fall from the same family tree, and have played music together since childhood. The high-energy sound they produce features dual vocal lines, thick guitar melodies, driving bass lines, and powerful drums. The band’s unique sound also includes thought-provoking lyrics as well as diverse instrument arrangements, whether there are two bass lines with two guitars or three guitars with one bass. With “Breathe Deeply Stomata”, Be The Ant hopes to leave a mark on the Denver music scene.

TOAD is a 6 piece band from Phoenix, Arizona that has crafted a sound of their own that cannot easily be classified. The album I am sending you is entitled “Rotten Tide” and was tracked live to analog tape. For this album, TOAD teamed up with recording engineer/producer Bob Hoag (Hour of the Wolf, Recover, the Bled, Life in Pictures etc.). All vintage gear from the 60′s and 70′s was used to get a true rock sound. The serious snarl of the vocals are accompanied with horrifyingly distorted organ scattered throughout, which provides a new unique sound that TOAD has coined as their own.
TOAD has played with well known national acts such as Coliseum, Deafheaven, the Funeral Pyre, Burning Love, Early Graves, Hour of the Wolf, Across Tundras, and Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire, to name a few.
Having been a fan of High Wire Daze, I truly believe this momentous album belongs on such a website. TOAD would be very interested in working with High Wire Daze for a review, interview or any other way we may contribute to your blog. Born out of the small town of Mount Airy, Maryland; Christian/Metal/Hardcore act My Ransomed Soul started its journey in late 2006. Since then the band has self released 3 EP’s and 2 singles, and has had the opportunity to share the stage with well over 50 national acts, just a few of which included Attack Attack!, Parkway Drive, We Came As Romans, and MyChildren MyBride. In addition, the band has done extensive DIY touring, playing up and down the East Coast. With plenty of shows and touring ahead, the band has no intentions of slowing down.

AnzeriA (Turkish symphonic/gothic metal band), founded by Damla Kayıhan (vocal) at the beginning of 2009, got start in July 2009. AnzeriA that worked to introduce itself with cover songs in its previous times, took part in the concerts in Istanbul University Spring Feast and Dorock in May 2010 at first. Among the covers, Your Voice by Italian band Deva was appreciated by both the band itself and the foreign listeners, and also it was mentioned in one of the interviews of Deva.
The band has adopted a musical style based on gothic/progressive/symphonic metal using operatic vocals on the base and has a very original musical style. The band is composing songs, forming its repertory and preparing for an EP album and concerts nowadays.
ANZERIA: A fictional world in a Japanese strategy/RPG game. As a word, it also means “protect, watch, observe” in Greek language.

Pine Mountain Casket is an eclectic indie rock group based out of Los Angeles, CA. The group was formed by brothers, Nick and Jon Arouca, based on one common goal; to create real rock music with integrity. Deathtrap America came to form in September of 2010 on a sunny afternoon trip to Seattle. Out of the frustration with the current affairs and hardships of our nation, the idea of DTA presented itself to it’s willing members, JT Locke and Amanda VanderMeer. The two musicians, both having been in other projects and armed with the experience of national and international tours, set out to make an album. Inspired by the rainy months of Portland, the trials and tribulations of everyday life in this nation, and the determination of giving hope to those around them, they achieved their goal. They have blended the styles of rock, metal, pop, punk and prog rock to result in a sound of heavy, catchy rock and roll they call “Boutique Punk”. Their aim is to entertain, and wake up the masses to a positive environment with their energetic and interactive live performance. Deathtrap America brings to you their self titled album on September 16th, 2011 in stores and online. Bassist Steve Cook joined after a 10 year hiatus from the music industry. Steve has worked with Rich Ward aka the Duke, Stuck Mojo, Fozzy, Marilyn Manson, Type O Negative and has endorsements with Sfarzo Strings and Clayton USA Guitar Picks.

well i came here not as a musician but as a fan. I’m a huge fan of this band and as that i want all the best for them.
They are a young group of the Azores (Portugal) more specifically the island of Sao Miguel, bring us a very unique smooth sound funkyish psychedelic rockish groove with some hot guitar melodies that bind perfectly and virtuous solos from the guitarist Romulo San -Bento, a complete soft but very restless drums from Pedro Rodrigues with a deep voice, resonant and very original of Rui Rofino and the warm bass supplementing the melodies creating a quality sound and very unique from this fantastic group.
As the geographical position of the band it is not very favorable for the world to hear them so I’m trying to present them to the world .. so I’m here to ask you to take 10 minutes to listen and give a word about your wonderful and unique sound.
