“No matter what kind of scene you’re into more than likely it has it’s fair share of the elitist mentality,” singer Dustin Monk says of the new song. “At the end of the day I believe we are just simply human. We all feel the same emotions; we just deal with them in different ways. No matter your status or level of success, nothing makes any of us better than the other.”
“Closer Look” is the follow-up track to the recently released song “Sanity (Growing Up)” from We Still Dream’s sophomore album, Something To Smile About, which features twelve infectious pop-punk tracks that were engineered and produced by Josh Cobb at Rockbot Studios in the band’s hometown of Jacksonville, FL.
We Still Dream is currently on tour, previewing songs from Something To Smile About, for fans across the country. Pre-order a copy of the new album now and catch the band on tour this summer!
