OCEANS ATE ALASKA RELEASES NEW SONG “COVERT”
Ahead of their Slam Dunk Festival performances this weekend, Birmingham, UK’s Oceans Ate Alaska has unveiled a fierce new song called “Covert.” The track delivers all the elements that are quintessentially Oceans Ate Alaska, showcasing the band’s technical musicianship while introducing new vocalist Jake Noakes. “Covert” is now available on ITunes.
“‘Covert‘ is such a classic Oceans Ate Alaska jam – fast drums, fast riffs, heavy sections, and catchy sections,” says drummer Chris Turner. “It’s also the first song the world is going to hear with our brand new vocalist, Jake, and it showcases his talent perfectly with such a wide variety of vocal parts.”
After taking the stage at Slamdunk Festival this weekend, the band will perform at Fearless Invasion in London on May 31, along with labelmates I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills, before headlining the UK Tech Fest 2017 Tour through June and joining August Burns Red in Europe from August 16th through 28th. OCEANS ATE ALASKA – Uniting boundaries between multiple genres in modern metal, technical metal quintet Oceans Ate Alaska -Chris Turner [Drums], James Kennedy [Guitar], Mike Stanton [Bass], Adam Zytkiewicz [Guitar], and Jake Noakes [Vocals]- made waves during 2015 with their full-length debut Lost Isles.
