AMPAGE Drummer Jason Fish Seriously Injured In Motorcycle Crash

Mendocino California, AMPAGE drummer Jason Fish was seriously injured Thursday afternoon when his Harley Softail Slammed into the guard rail on highway 1 just North of Elk. Fish was riding with his fellow AMPAGE band mates on the Mendocino Coast that day shooting a music video for there upcoming release of there newest song “Rolling Dogs of Thunder” produced by Duane Baron (Ozzy Osbourne, Heart, Motley Crue) a song about an outlaw Motorcycle club.

Everyone in the band rides however Fish had a little less experience especially on the windy curves here on the coast riding his newly acquired Harley Softail Slim. As he was coming around a sharp curve currently under construction with a lot of dirt and gravel on the road Fish hit his back brake which fishtailed the bike and lost control sliding and slamming his right leg between the guardrail and bike. Fish was taken to the Fort Bragg hospital where later he was flown to Kaiser in Sacramento for surgery.

The band had just returned from LA playing 3 sold out shows with Foghat and Dokken and are scheduled to return to LA Nov. 2nd for another sold out show with Dishwalla at the Saban Theater and are hopeful Fish will recover enough from his injuries to play.

The band has been shooting there new music video on the California and Oregon coast for the last month and will finish shooting next month on the Salt Flats in Utah. The song is set to be released worldwide September 15th.

In life imitating art, the band and other local Harley enthusiasts that appear in the video had so much fun (except for this accident) shooting the music video that ”Rolling Dogs of Thunder” has now become a real motorcycle riding club here on the coast with over 10 members so far and growing quickly –
