Warmer In The Winter by Lindsey Stirling (Lindseystomp Music / Concord Records)
The holiday season is now upon the horizon, along with the litany of theme albums from artists we all know and admire. Warmer In The Winter is the first collection of holiday music from critically acclaimed electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling, and it’s an enchanting effort destined to become a seasonal classic as time goes by. Commencing with the vibrant refrains of Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy – as interpreted by the imaginative Ms. Stirling – the much-covered composition is given an ultra-vivid life that is absolutely stunning to behold.
In addition to Lindsey Stirling’s trademark instrumentals that transcend the material and set the imagination in flight, there are notable guest appearances to be discovered within this auditory wonderland. Singer Becky G makes an appearance on original song Christmas C’Mon – a tune of very good cheer that will surely become a holiday standard. Sabrina Carpenter delivers a wickedly wonderful performance on a superbly witty interpretation of You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch. Another dazzling highlight is title track Warmer In The Winter, where Trombone Shorty’s lush and gorgeous vocals collide beautifully with the luminous soundscapes at hand. And then another brand new holiday classic to be is Time to Fall in Love, a grand slam of a track featuring the one and only Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low! Such an impressive collection of special guest complimenting the always intriguing violin performances of Lindsey Stirling.
Even the familiar favorites such as Carol Of The Bells, Jingle Bell Rock, and Silent Night are given sparkling new renditions thanks to the massive talents of Lindsey Stirling. All this, and fans will be able to see many of these exquisite tracks performed live on the upcoming Warmer In The Winter Christmas Tour – featuring a local date at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on December 21st!. (All tour dates listed below.) Be sure to check into Warmer In the Winter – a sweeping holiday entreaty music fans will want to revisit time and again!
