Dead Like Juliet Announce New Album

DEAD LIKE JULIET ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM – RELEASE NEW SINGLE

Dead Like Juliet have announced their new record called “Stand Defiant”, which is coming out May 5th, with pre-orders and bundles set to start on March 9th on the band’s official website.

The album announcement follows the release of a new single, “Godkiller”, which can be listened to here.

The track is an explosive, relentless anthem which perfectly blends clattering riffs, bruising breakdowns, snarling lyrics, and classic Dead Like Juliet’s firm singalongs. The song’s about deconstructing the idea of God by metaphorically killing it. Singer Ale Thurner explains “If we want to live peacefully and freely we need to abolish every religion that divides our society into different classes. It’s a song dedicated to all the people persecuted and killed for religious reasons.”

The band will be supporting Aviana on the “CORPORATION EUROPEAN TOUR” together with InVisions and Earth Caller, starting April 20th and ending two days after the day of the album release.

Following their European Tour, the Dead Like Juliet boys will head out for a round of festivals appearances including Nova Rock, Rock Im Ring and Open Air Gaul.

About Dead Like Juliet:

Dead Like Juliet is unity, resistance, rebellion, compassion, solidarity. They are not afraid to share their vision of equality and humanism and they use their music to do so. Their songs are angry, raw, brutal and true. This band is here to make a change. Coming from the earth of northern Italy, south-tyrol and Austria, six-piece hardcore metal outfit DEAD LIKE JULIET have defined their sound with melodic hooks and singalongs alongside heavy growls and groovy riffs. Unlike other Hardcore bands DLJ shaped their raw sound with atmospheric keys and synths. Their songs talk about political topics, personal issues and more philosophical problems. On stage they throw their whole energy into the audience, not stopping until everyone is soaked in sweat. The first full length album “Stranger Shores” debuted in 2018 leading them to play around 200 club shows, underground shows and big festivals in over 20 different countries including mainland Europe and the UK. In 2023 the band will embark on a European tour supporting Aviana together with InVisions and Earth Caller.
