Sammy says, “A dream that my 6 year old self made to have my own music released has come true. I wrote, recorded, and produced the song on my own, and it is a true piece of my heart and soul!”
About Sammy Shepard
“I am Sammy Shepard, a multi-instrumentalist born just north of Atlanta in November ‘02. Myself, my father and his father are all products of musical families. Ever since I can remember the one thing that has never changed was the amount of music in my life. My dad grew me up on everything from the classics to heavy jazz fusion. The music that stuck with me the most influence would have to be John Mayer, The Beatles of course, and Jack Johnson along with many others. I started playing concerts in elementary school for my classmates at the graduations and this continued with middle school. In high school I was the drum captain for a year and then ended up leaving the school band to pursue my solo music! I began playing bass at 4, drums at 5, piano at 6 and then guitar at around 16 as well as singing my whole life! I currently play about 3 shows a week, and am recording my debut album during the week!“
