Filmed in their hometown Brisbane, The Escape film clip is a narrative delving into self-esteem and domestic violence that paired with driving rhythms, soaring melodies and lyrics like, “I won’t leave you in the dark,” and “I’ll be your home” is uplifting, inspiring and emotionally triumphant.

“We have poured our hearts and souls into this single and the entire album and believe this is the start of something special,” said Nic.

Between Kings – which consist of members Nic Machuca (Vocals), Jordan Coyne (Guitar), Jayden Marsh (Bass), Nick Fanning (Drums) – The band dabbles with the heartfelt resonance of Twenty-One pilots, then mixes it with the arena-rock balladry of Imagine Dragons the next. The band’s triumphant use of melodic elements makes it irresistible for rock enthusiasts to throw up the horns, or even hit the dance floor. The group quickly developed a bond over their desire to create infectious rhythms and powerful hooks to bring together the sound that is Between Kings.
