Combichrist at The Regent
Combichrist, The Regent Theater, May 10, 2019
Atlanta, GA based industrial metal band Combichrist took over the Regent Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, CA on Friday, May 10, 2019 as part of the One Fire tour. They are traveling across the United States from April 8th through June 2nd in support of their new album by the same name, which is set for release on June 7, 2019. Silver Snakes is providing direct support on this run, and they did a great job of warming up the crowd.
Combichrist gave an incredible performance at the Regent. This is a band that is never short on octane, and the energy they brought to the stage was infectious. Frontman Andy LaPlegua and guitarist Eric 13 are masters at their craft, and their enthusiasm kept the audience dancing and moshing. Along with brand new music, Combichrist also has two new touring drummers, Will Spodnik and Dane White, who rose to the challenge of replacing Joe Letz and Nick Rossi. They fit in seamlessly with the crew, and had no trouble keeping up with the rest of the band on stage.
Combichrist always does a fantastic job of giving their fans their all when they perform. They put on a visually and audibly appealing show, and they keep getting better with every album they produce. This is a must-see show for any industrial fan or music lover.
