Revival Recordings Announces Signing of Misery!

REVIVAL RECORDINGS ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF MISERY!

Debut Single, “A Sunny Place For Shady People,” Out on June 4th

NC-based independent rock label, Revival Recordings, has announced their signing of New Jersey post-punk outfit, Misery!. When speaking of the signing, guitarist Mikey Williams said, “We are super excited to have signed with Revival! Everything has been great, and the whole team is amazing. We will definitely be doing some fun, amazing things with them!”

Misery! are launching into the music scenes with a new lineup and new lead singer after recently rebranding themselves from their former entity, Misery Loves Company. Taking inspiration from the moody and dark aesthetics of Halloween and horror flicks, the band is set to do more than shock and awe. With themes of mental health and reaching deep within, their lyrics are meant to connect their fans to the band themselves. Discussing how the band is moving forward, Mikey stated, “Misery! is something more than just a band to us. It is it’s own entity, striving to not only keep us as people in a good mental health state, but also to reach out to anyone in the world who’s reaching for that hand to save them. Anyone who needs someone to say ‘keep going, push forward, stay strong.’ It is fully about reconnecting the world on topics most are scared to talk about, or too scared to seek help for.”

Now after signing with the label, Misery!, which also features Gabriel Perez (vocals), Joe Mascio (bass), Joey Galligan (guitar), and Jesse Smith (drums), is gearing up to release their debut single, “A Sunny Place For Shady People” on June 4th. The track is the first off their forthcoming EP which is slated to be released later this year. Fans can pre-save the track now!
