City State Release New EP ‘Violent Bodies’The much awaited new record from Michigan metallers City State has finally arrived.
Michigan metalcore quartet City State are presenting their brand new offering, their new 5-track EP ‘Violent Bodies‘. The past few months, the band have brought forward tension-building singles that are now compiled into one extended play. ‘Violent Bodies‘ EP is now available worldwide through Famined Records.
The carefully crafted lyricism that discuss dark themes such as mental descent, guilt, and loss, are accompanied by the band’s abundant and distinct powerful instrumentation, their very own contribution to modern metalcore. The combination of these are guaranteed to bring an intense, hard-hitting listen.

More About the Band
City State is a metalcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, that was formed at the end of 2017 by Duncan Green, Logan Jahr, and Parker Sovinski. The band was completed by the addition of Daniel Bryan at the beginning of 2018. City State released an EP, “Finding Solace in Loss” in June 2018, before officially signing to Famined Records and releasing their debut album “Equinox“, in September of 2019.
