Wonderful Dream by Sakis Gouzonis (Independent Release)

Sakis Gouzonis is an independent composer from Greece whose exquisite electronic artistry has been thrilling fans all over the world since 2008. Highwire Daze reviewed the debut album from Sakis entitled First Contact in 2009. And as 2022 spun to its conclusion, Sakis would unveil his 15th glorious masterwork entitled Wonderful Dream. Jam packed with sweeping cinematic reveries, the legacy of Sakis Gouzonis continues to live on and prosper in an epic way. If you have no idea who this amazing musician is, there is no better time than now to explore the grand collection of auditory wonder Sakis Gouzonis has been delivering over the ravages of time – starting with Wonderful Dream!

My 15th studio album titled Wonderful Dream contains ten electronic music tracks about our dreams. Dreams give purpose and meaning to our lives. If we want to be truly happy, we need to follow our dreams. We are far more likely to regret the things we did not do than the things we did,” Sakis has described when asked about his latest magnum opus. And from the opening refrains of A Sunny Day and on to the vibrant What I Want To Be and beyond, the listener will be entranced by the thrilling atmosphere presented. Positivity and imagination abound throughout this superb recording. With song titles such as You Bring Me Joy, There Is A Way, and Hope And Glory, Gouzonis presents these exhilarating messages of pure inspiration throughout his music, and the results are absolutely brilliant! All this, and his entire catalog remains free to download from the official website!

I’m not sure why it’s taken all this time to review another Sakis Gouzonis release, but please excuse me as I go to explore all the sonic adventures I’ve missed over the years from this award-winning composer. Music like what’s found on Wonderful Dream actually reminds us all that there is still a world of optimism and intrigue left to be discovered and revered.
