ANTISAINT RELEASES NEW SINGLE, “PARADISE” TODAY
BAND PLAYS THE UK’S DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL SATURDAY AFTERNOON
The most exciting rock band to ever come out of Cheyenne, WY – ANTISAINT – releases their brand new single, “Paradise” today, just in time to coincide with their inaugural appearance at this year’s Download Festival tomorrow afternoon.
“Paradise” is the first page in the next chapter for ANTISAINT. The song is satiristic to the reality of living too vicariously in the world of the internet … specifically social media.
With the chorus’ main tagline of “our lives are all perfect and everything is fine,” frontman Matthew Whiteman openly plays into the ignorance most people take browsing across social media influencer’s accounts in a very “fake it til you make it” atmosphere online.
The song tackles the idea that too much influence creates insecurity.
As with their debut album, VATICINATE, the song was recorded at the Keep Studio in Denver, Colorado with producer, engineer and mixer Shane Stanton (Glower Studios) at the helm.
“Paradise” releases just in time to coincide with ANTISAINT’s festival debut in the United Kingdom at Download 20. This makes it an extra special release for ANTISAINT, as playing a large music festival is a life-long dream shared between founding members Andrew and Matthew Whiteman. ANTISAINT frontman Matthew Whiteman says, “We’re beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity. This is the kind of show you dream about and to be a part of it is a huge honour,” while brother and guitarist, Andrew Whiteman adds, “A 20th Anniversary celebration of such a widely respected festival makes it that much better. It’s a privilege to be included this year!”
You can stream “Paradise” on Spotify and purchase the single on iTunes.
ANTISAINT is:
Mathew Whiteman – Lead vocals
Andrew Whiteman – Guitars
