Unpolished at the Universal Bar & Grill – Live Review

Unpolished, Universal Bar & Grill, Universal City, CA., October 19, 2024

Unpolished had a stellar performance Saturday night October 19th at Universal Bar and Grill. They were there to celebrate their new single and music video release of their new song ghost.

This all-girl group consists of Mary Bugbee – singer, Jasmine Day – drummer, and Celinda Chang – guitarist, and guest bassist Stephen McLaughlin.

These young ladies sound amazing together, and I have loved watching their journey so far. They have a truly unique pop-punk sound, with a touch of alternative/grunge. Mary has a superbly amazing voice, soulful, and can really belt out the notes. Celinda definitely can shred on her guitar, as well as sings back up occasionally. And Jasmine keeps the beat, on the drums.
