Mori’s Memento at The Whisky – Live Review

Mori’s Memento, The Whisky, West Hollywood, CA., February 2, 2025

On Sunday February 2, 2025 I heard that Mori’s Memento was going to tear up the Whisky a Go-Go stage for their first time, and of course after briefly hearing them perform a small set at NAMM, I did not want to miss this performance. The lead singer Charlotte has a phenomenal voice, and simply brought the venue to a completely packed house. The entire band was simply sensational, they each have a remarkable style, but combining it all together was simply extraordinary.

The guitarists, Al, and Alexis, along with the bassist Jonny simply brought excitement to each song, and Noah added his passion on the drum kit. Mori’s Memento has a rare but supremely exceptional harmony. Charlotte’s powerful soulful voice with a twist of that 80’s rock sound brings pure exhilaration. I loved the pure burning enthusiasm of every single member of the band. It was completely obvious that they all have a pure passion for performing.

I just heard that they will be doing a mini tour coming up soon, definitely keep an eye out for them, and go check them out!! They have a few songs out on Spotify including my favorite song by them, Throw Me To The Wolves, which I first heard played at NAMM, they did an acoustic performance. The band originally formed in August 2022, by Alexis and Alan, while Charlotte, Jonny, and Noah joined a little later.
