Today, Jackson Guitars has teamed up with Bring Me the Horizon’s guitarist, Lee Malia, to unleash the New Pro Series Signature Lee Malia LM-87. This model combines vintage and modern rock – an approach that Malia is known for pushing. Designed in close collaboration with Lee, this guitar captures Lee’s intricate solos and aggressive playing style. Based on his revered custom shop model built by Mike Shannon, this model was created in collaboration with Lee’s rock style and sonic vision. Its TOM-style bridge with anchored tailpiece and fine tuners provides extra stability for low tunings and heavy picking which Lee is known for. Its offset Surfcaster™ body shape, with a thin open pore finish on the bound Okoume body and neck, has both a unique vintage appeal with modern appointments of which alternative rock crosses lines with.
The Pro Series Signature Lee Malia LM-87 has a unique 3-ply pickguard with chrome hardware and a fast D-profile 3-piece Okoume neck allowing for smooth riffing across the bound amaranth fingerboard. Lastly, this custom Jackson comes with signature pickups, including a bridge humbucker with push-pull coil-split, for versatile tone shaping options fulfilling Malia’s vision for shredding. Its blend of vintage vibe and high performance features make this signature model a must-have for players who value commanding rock tone and smooth playability.
