Intersect at Hotel Ziggy – Live Review

Intersect – We Found New Music at Hotel Ziggy, West Hollywood, CA

December 3, 2025

As 2025 enters its final month, We Found New Music continues to spotlight rising talent at Hotel Ziggy on the Sunset Strip. On this Wednesday night, Intersect took the stage and delivered a dazzling set of indie rock that transformed the intimate venue into a whirlwind of sonic intrigue. Though the band has only been performing for four months and currently boasts two singles on Spotify, Intersect is already poised to make a lasting mark on the L.A. music scene and beyond.

Opening with the one-two punch of Sundress and Money, the group immediately captured the late-night crowd, setting the tone with irresistibly catchy indie-alternative energy. The third track, I’ll Take You Home, proved to be a standout moment—one that deserves serious consideration as their next single.

Frontman and rhythm guitarist Diego Solano commanded attention with passionate, conviction-filled vocals, while lead guitarist Ethan Woolfard elevated the set with imaginative, intricate playing. Newest member Jonathan Machuca anchored the low end with precision and skill, and drummer Stanton Meadows drove the performance home with epic intensity.

Intersect’s two released singles—Maybe and the brilliantly titled You Can’t Stand Me—sounded even more compelling in a live setting. The band also showcased their influences with striking renditions of Reptilia by The Strokes and a powerful closing cover of Radiohead’s iconic Creep.

True to form, We Found New Music once again curated an unforgettable night of discovery. Intersect proved themselves to be a thrilling addition to Hotel Ziggy’s storied stage, leaving the audience eager for what’s next. This is a band worth keeping on your radar—and one I look forward to experiencing again soon.
