(We asked them to help).

ANTARCTICA” showcases Ciurczak’s signature blend of heartland rock, cinematic storytelling, and classic rock. Ciurczak’s sixth album expands his cinematic storytelling with songs that explore invisibility, survival, noir narratives, surreal twists, and emotional vulnerability.

Highlights include:

Invisible Man” — a driving opener about people society overlooks
We Were Immortal” — a melodic rock piece originally conceived for a rock opera
Going Down in Flames” & “Looking for a Place” — straight‑ahead rock songs
Losing You” — an intimate piano‑driven reflection on life on the road
Black Out Jack,” “Haunted House,” “Atom Glow,” “Creature from the Blues Saloon” — Dark songs loaded with surreal storytelling

The single “Antarctica” has been described as “a ghost story at the bottom of the world,” and features 1970s progressive rock influences, anchored by a dramatic pipe‑organ/B3 intro and outro that evokes Captain Nemo, Phantom of the Opera, and classic rock’s most theatrical moments.
