Total Zero by Snakefist (Self-released EP)

The Sunset Strip rock and roll scene is very much alive and thriving, thanks to bands such as Snakefist spewing their own toxic brand of sonic venom in locals clubs – and now on CD, ITunes and Bandcamp! Total Zero is the name of Snakefist’s brand spanking new EP, packing quite a wallop with five diabolical anthems that will rip a new one into your computer speakers.

Fans of bands such as Motorhead, AC/DC, and Rhino Bucket will surely want to check into the auditory bite Snakefist has in store for the world on large on Total Zero. Recalling the glory days and rabid nights of Hollywood rock and bringing it back with an all-out vengeance, Snakefist is a hard and heavy assault destined to make your ears bleed while pumping that fist high and recklessly in the air.

The slamming amalgamation of metal and punk blast right on through with the arrival title cut Total Zero, instantly grabbing the listener by the throat and rocking their world with a massive amount of fiendish bravado. Old Dog then snarls away at hard rocking speed, showing its teeth while slamming away at senses. The frenetic pace is brought down ever so slightly, with the melodic Blood And The Open Sky seething through with its memorable vocal inflections and exhilarating guitar interludes.

Flying Blind brings up the relentless pace with its breakneck intensity merging into a Black Crowes-style bridge rendering this one a rip-roaring standout. And then closing out the Total Zero EP way too soon is their namesake song Snakefist, unleashing the knockout punch that will leave you reeling yet wanting to hear a whole lot more!

The musicians ready to dropkick your ass into the massive throes of party in the pit rock in roll include Zach Stokell on vocals, Chris Vallee on guitar, Nao Nakashima on guitar, Mark Belko on bass, and Joey Cotero on drums. Total Zero by Snakefist is booze drenched and amped up to ten-plus on adrenaline and ferocity. A wildly impressive local collective that is well worth seeking out, expect Snakefist to slither in and shake up your world with their wickedly infectious rock and rage.  Play this one loud as hell for maximum impact!!!
