Sheryl Crow at The Fonda Theater

Sheryl Crow, The Fonda Theater, Hollywood CA, October 23, 2017

Sheryl Crow headlined a benefit at The Fonda Theater for 88.5FM.Org and Stomp Out Bullying with a wonderful two hour concert with opening act Particle Kid. It was a sold out show in Hollywood for a Monday evening. Sweltering heat but thank goodness great air conditioning was available inside this 1200 seat venue. The crowd were very appreciative and it showed through the variety of ages that were present at this event. During the show Sheryl Crow said to actually take out your phones to make a pledge to Stomp The Bullying at 347 – 997 – 8667 and the loving crowd did just that with their phones – making pledges right there on the spot.

Sheryl Crow played a lot of her known hits that pleased the crowd. But this evening show also included songs from her current album Be Myself which the crowd really enjoyed as well. During the set of songs, Sheryl Crow explained that the song Be Myself was in reaction to what Stomp The Bullying is about, and that is that it’s okay to just be yourself.

Presented live from the new album were some other great songs such as: Long Way Home, Halfway There and Roller Skate. Sheryl Crow looked absolutely radiant and her voice and performs is as grand as ever.  During the set, Sheryl talked about taking time out away from cell phones and being in the moment and that being with her two sons was most important for her. When she goes om tour, she said she was also having fun as well.

Thanks to Warner Brothers Records for letting me cover this important event. A great time was had this evening. The venue felt good to be in for this positive outreach. I hope the word gets out more with this article and hope others phone in to the number given in this article in support.
