Rachael Rine of Paradise Kitty

Paradise Kitty, Snakefist, The Viper Room, October 27, 2017

Paradise Kitty

Paradise Kitty is one of the most exciting tribute bands to emerge from the notorious Los Angeles music scene. An all-girl act unveiling their own fierce take on the Guns N’ Roses classics, Paradise Kitty is Axl Rose approved and ready to take on the nation. Now in the midst of touring the country playing after-parties in cities where Guns N’ Roses are playing, Paradise Kitty made their way to The Viper Room prior to hitting the road.

Kick ass slices of G n’R such as Paradise City, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Welcome To The Jungle, Rocket Queen, Mr. Brownstone and a whole lot more were rapturous unleashed by these supremely talented musicians. It was the weekend before Halloween, and all members were dressed to the nines as hard rocking kitties, ready and willing to enrapture your world with their not to be missed live show.

Ariel Bellvalaire’s and Jenna Syde of Paradise Kitty

Vocalist Jenna Syde conveys an epic amount charisma and conviction, channeling the passion and ferocity of Axl Rose in an explosive way. Ariel Bellvalaire’s lead guitar work is right on target, the perfect amount of wicked sass and master class – and her humorous interactions with Ms. Jenna Syde are lots of fun to watch. The massively gifted Emily Ruvidich is a brilliant addition to the Paradise Kitty lineup, her dynamic rhythm guitar work setting the material in flight. Nikki Stevens supplies a dynamic low end with her vibrant work on bass. And then there’s the wondrously radiant artistry of Rachael Rine, unleashing a drum presentation with a skilled precision that would certainly make Steven Adler proud!

One of the many highlights of the set was when Paradise Kitty launched into a particularly ferocious rendition of Nice Boys, with a circle pit commencing featuring the various members of opening act Snakefist as well as other Paradise Kitty fans and friends in attendance. Another hot raging party night on the Sunset Strip brought to you by the one and only Paradise Kitty! Be sure to say “Meow” to Paradise Kitty when they show up in your town to bring on the purr-fect Guns N’ Roses tribute as only they can!

Zach Stokell and Mark Belko of Snakefist

Snakefist

Upcoming bands such as Snakefist, without a doubt, keep rock and roll very much alive and well in this town. Taking to The Viper Room stage earlier in the evening, these local Hollywood boys unleashed a massively frenetic set of rocking tunes that nearly blew the roof off the infamous Sunset Strip establishment. Songs such as Total Zero, Flying Blind, and Blood And The Open Sky captivated the early arrivals, making for a stunning kickoff to a rip roaring night within the wilds of Hollywoodland.

Such powerhouse performances from each and every member of Snakefist!  Zach Stokell unleashes a wild and epic vocal rage onstage while guitarist Chris Vallee shreds it all into the stratosphere. And then there’s the thunderous assault force rhythm section brought to you courtesy of Mark Belko on bass and Joey Cotero on drums. Be sure to check into the recently issued Total Zero EP by Snakefist, and do not miss these guys the next time they slither onstage to pummel your senses with their tasty rock and roll entreaties on the Sunset Strip or beyond.
