Dreamers at Harvard & Stone

Dreamers, Harvard & Stone, July 12, 2018

Harvard & Stone, a cozy nightclub on the East side of Hollywood Blvd, was packed to the rafters for an early show featuring L.A.’s own pop rocking Dreamers. Celebrating the release of their Launch EP on Hollywood Records, Dreamers unveiled an exhilarating six song set, showcasing tracks from their newest release as well as their previous This Album Does Not Exist endeavor. Exuding a good amount of charisma and energy with the superbly infectious songs to back it all up, Dreamers is destined to reach stratospheric heights of success – especially if their performance at Harvard & Stone is indicative of greater glories ahead. Kicking off their short yet very sweet set with the vibrant refrains of Screw, Dreamers definitely hooked the listener in with their memorable lyrics and soaring choruses.

Vocalist / guitarist Nick Wold is an infinite talent, whose expressive voice and intensive guitar playing seared into the heart and soul of the matter. Bassist Nelson supplied a dynamic low end that sent the material pulsating along rapturously. And how terrific it was to see Jacob Wick from Lakes and The Honey Trees setting Dreamers in flight with his precision drum playing and backing vocals.

Amongst the songs Dreamers performed within the hallowed walls of Harvard & Stone were Fake It Till You Make It, Black and White, Karma, Pain Killer, and Sweet Disaster. Fans of bands such as Weezer, Smoking Popes, and Mayday Parade are destined to be over the moon when encountering the vast and sweeping reveries Dreamers has to offer the world at large. Expect this power trio to break out of the Los Angeles music scene in an epic way. In the meantime, check into the auditory bliss known as Dreamers and catch up with a rising star!
