Mark V. Hoagland performs the lyrics with a dynamic sense of conviction while unleashing very persuasive bass tones. His brother Paul Hoagland brings it all home with skill and precision on drums. And the guitar reveries found within are brilliant and atmospheric in scope. The Brothers Hoagland have released a dazzling piece of sonic artistry with Pretend.
