BULSARA, new project of TNT’s singer, to release first single on April 9BULSARA is Baol Bardot Bulsara’s (Norwegian hard-rockers TNT’s current frontman) new project, and will release the single “No Gravity” on April 9, as a business card from their upcoming first album.
Having the intention of bringing back that missed 80s melodic Hard-Rock like Whitesnake, Survivor, Winger, Bon Jovi or Def Leppard did in the golden era, BULSARA has surrounded itself with pure talent, both Spaniard and international. The album is a co-production between Baol and Joaquín Padilla, renowned author and engine of Spanish-language metal-saga Legado de una Tragedia (Legacy of a Tragedy), (whose last work, Britania, has just been released through ArtGates Records, including an english version as well).
“No Gravity” features monster musician guests like Neil Hibbs (SHY, Tony Mills) on guitars, Victor Cito Smaavik Borge (Ammunition, ex-TNT) on bass, or the acclaimed swedish guitarist Tommy Denander, who has worked with huge artists like Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley, Michael Jackson, Deep Purple or Steve Perry among others, on lead guitars. The drum department has been taken care of by north American Arthur Morgan.
Baol himself has taken care of the writing and arranging of the song, as well as almost the whole album, and has also recorded guitars, keyboards and all vocals.
In Baol’s own words: “What we commited ourselves to achieve with BULSARA was trying to go back to the music that hooked me back then, and made me want to do this for a living. That eighties vibe, those golden era bands, that kind of songwriting and arrangements that, to my ear, today’s musical landscape lacks. The challenge was to do this without sounding out of date; to find the balance between the two things, and I believe we pulled it off! No Gravity is a pill for time-travelling; the Hard Rock’s DeLorean!”
