DAYSEEKER SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SONG “NEON GRAVE”
FIRST NEW SONG SINCE 2019 BREAKTHROUGH SLEEPTALK
BAND TOURING THIS SPRING — MOST DATES ARE SOLD OUT!
Southern California’s DAYSEEKER have just shared the video for the brand new song “Neon Grave.” Watch it here.
The deeply personal track, produced by Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Volumes) and mixed by Henrik Udd (Architects, Bring Me the Horizon), represents the first new material from the band since their 2019-released, breakthrough fourth album Sleeptalk.
“‘Neon Grave‘ is about my father passing in July of last year,” says singer Rory Rodriguez. “It’s about my relentless desire for heaven and earth to collide into one another so I can see him again.“
Dayseeker will return to the road next month on a headline tour that runs from April 2 through May 13 The band will be performing Sleeptalk in its entirety on this run. Support will come from Holding Absence, Thornhill, and Caskets. Get tickets here or here — although most dates are already sold out.
Southern California’s Dayseeker have been steadily building a buzz for several years and they have reached a tipping point. Dayseeker built themselves into a scene standout with 2019’s Sleeptalk, which was hailed by Alternative Press as “a warm and welcome release to higher ground” and as “much needed fresh air into the post-hardcore scene.” The album has gone on to accumulate over 91 million streams, positioning the band as a formidable force — and one that is primed to take its next big leap. In 2021, the band dropped a deluxe version of Sleeptalk, featuring four reimagined versions of album tracks, which offered fans a fresh and unique take on songs they already love. It also demonstrated the depth and breadth of the band’s creative vision, scope, and possibilities. With the new song “Neon Grave,” it’s Dayseeker’s moment.
