Weathers Announce Signing To Sumerian Records, Drop New Track & Video “Where Do I Sign?”
SoCal Alt-pop trio, WEATHERS have announced today that they have signed a new deal with world-renowned independent label, Sumerian Records. The band have also dropped their first new single out via their new label home, the aptly named “Where Do I Sign?“. Find the track on streaming platforms HERE and watch the official music video HERE.
Speaking on the release of the band’s new track, frontman Cameron Boyer shares:
“We wanted to make a song as a kind of satire on things we’ve been feeling in the past year. We’ve been joking with each other saying “what’s it gonna take to get to the next level?” And we mentioned selling our souls is our best bet. So we thought we’d turn that into a song and talk about all the things we want in a kind of dark twisted way. It’s a lighthearted mind set with with a darker feel since selling your soul would actually be something very serious.”
On the subject of their new label deal announcement, Boyer adds:
“We are stoked to be signing with Sumerian Records. It feels like the perfect fit and we are thrilled to be surrounded by such an excited and dedicated team that believes in our music and vision. We are both inspired and humbled to be a part of their roster alongside some amazing artists including a few that we’ve become friends with on past tours. Calling this a dream come true would be an understatement. We can’t wait for what the future holds.”
