The next generation of talent was on full display at the Whisky A Go-0Go on the night of May 7th, and early arrivals were treated to a very special set by rising star Reese Warren. At only 14 years young, Reese presents a standout singing voice and stage presence galore. Influenced by the likes of Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift, Reese Warren performed very catchy original songs and imaginative covers. It was the 6:30PM breakfast hour at The Whisky on the Sunset Strip, and Reese took to the stage, unveiling quite a memorable performance!
Reese Warren opened with a bouncy original tune called Good Life and was joined by two dancers on the stage. The dancers would make appearances throughout the set, and you could tell a lot of time and thought went into the choreography. Next up were two covers – Lady Gaga’s You And I and Sabrina Carpenter’s Vicious that were well received by the audience. Then another impressive original entitled Keep You Close was presented.
At this point of the show, Jensen Gering was invited on the stage to perform two acoustic songs with Reese. Another massive talent to be sure, Jensen Gering possesses a strong singing voice and remarkable guitar playing – you’d never even know he was only 15! Jensen and Reese first started out with an absolutely brilliant rendition of the Lady Antebellum classic Need You Now. And then Reese and Jensen presented a stunning performance of Tyrone by Erikah Badu, delivering a ton of emotion and intrigue, rendering this song all their own. They should consider recording this one together and releasing it as a single!
The dancers would rejoin Reese onstage and presented an exhilarating performance of her latest single OMG – concluding the night on a fun and inspiring note. With this much talent at 14, it will be exciting to see what the future has in store for Reese Warren. Stay tuned!
