About this amazing venue: “beTRUE is a creative space that allows anyone that walks through our doors to be true to who they are! It is a space that provides opportunities to create content, connect with like-minded people and feel inspired to be your authentic self no matter who you love or where you come from.”

And on this particular weekend, beTRUE was host to the Cali Culture Fiesta, featuring food vendors, tattoo artists, a cannabis room, live bands – they even have a Golden Girls Room with a life size Betty White cardboard standup! Presented by Uprooted Brand and Still Faded – and located right next to the infamous Rock ‘N Roll Ralphs, this was a not-to-be missed event with a wonderful mission statement!

One of the bands who performed at the Cali Culture Fiesta was ForgetxTomorrow – an up and coming pop punk collective based out of Corona, CA. And what a wild and energetic show these amazing musicians delivered, clearly demonstrating that the pop punk genre is very much alive and well – and ready to rock your entire world! Opening with the vibrant refrains of their recently released single Welcome To The Party, ForgetxTomorrow instantly captured the audience’s attention.

The set was played outside right in the heat, but that certainly did not stop the band from raising the temperature even more with an absolutely blazing performance! Lead vocalist Jordan Palani is definitely a star in the making, massive in both the charisma and talent department. Jordan sang with a thrilling amount of passion and conviction, whether it was on the pavement downstairs, to the audience, to his dog – and even making his way through the cannabis room and up to the rooftop!

Guitarist Adrian Uriostegui aka Wave delivered the goods with imagination and intrigue while bassist Cristian Cuppetelli and drummer Marcello Castillo tore it apart like absolute pros!  Together these guys rock it out in nothing short of an epic way!

Highlights of the set included the scorching Crime Scene Of My Life and the dark yet brilliantly impactful Pain. The band premiered their upcoming single Hate Me 2 which was very well received. And then closing out their set way too soon was a rendition of Sundress, the very first song ForgetxTomorrow ever wrote and released – and what a wonderful way to conclude their captivating set.

Stayed tuned as you’ll be hearing a whole lot more for ForgetxTomorrow in the days ahead.  Always exciting to discover a band with this much potential!  Definitely for fans of the Vans Warped Tour and the next generation of inspiring pop punk.

An interview with vocalist Jordan Palani will be in the next issue of Highwire Daze magazine, out September 20th!
