Moral at Gold Diggers – Live Review
Moral, Gold Diggers, Los Angeles, CA., August 19, 2025
Moral is the creation of Sean Rehak – a massively talented artist based out of the Baltimore area. With a good number of songs on Spotify garnering some pretty impressive numbers, Moral has been making quite an impression online and beyond.
Traveling all the way across the country to make his live debut here in the Los Angeles area, Moral played a show at Gold Diggers opening for Yuronono – another dynamic new band on the rise launching their first ever live presentation. Joseon would open up the night, kicking off an absolutely impressive evening of indie alternative rock.
When Moral took the stage, the club was packed with people curious to see what this band had to offer. Presenting a stunning amalgamation of shoegaze, modern rock, and indie alternative, Moral sent the room spinning with an absolutely captivating performance.

There is so much emotion and intrigue to be found within the realm of Moral’s live performance – rapturous vocals plus an expansive stage presence abound as the artist brings the listener into the brilliant auditory odyssey. And what a thrilling band Moral has amassed for the occasion, featuring standout dynamics from Brenden on guitar, Luke Sadanala on bass, and Harrison Witcher on drums. Sonic intrigue to the infinite power, the magic continued on with selections such as Let Go, Intricacy, and Closure leaving a definitive impact.
I Took This Too Far was a rocking number that showed the rich diversity within the Moral experience. And then closing out Moral’s set was the staggering The World Will End For Us with its spiraling soundscapes and its “kiss me with the lights on” romanticisms reigning supreme.

An interview with Moral is coming soon to Highwire Daze! Nothing in the world like chatting with an interesting artist on a fire escape overlooking the historic city of angels.
